JMarch 26, 2007: SGB Enterprises is now offering
the simulated versions of the popular Rockwell Collins' Common Avionics Architecture
System (CAAS) product line.
The CAAS is comprised of the MFD-268 C3/C4 and CDU 7000 displays.
SGB has developed high resolution, high fidelity designs for
all three displays and they are available for maintenance as
well as PVI applications.
SGB has developed the MFD -268 C-3 version (portrait orientation) that is
used on the VH-60, MH -60, CH-47, CH 53, ARH and C-130 AMPS program. SGB
also offers the C-4 version (landscape orientation) of the MFD-268. Our C4
unit is also available with a fully functioning mechanical slip-ball solution.
This display is currently being used for UH-60 training and simulation. SGB
has also developed a simulated CDU-7000 to compliment the MFD displays.
According to Jeff Mello, VP of Engineering, "all displays are available with a
variety of serial interfaces and can be adapted to USB."
