Service - Customer Care and Service Support


SGB is well regarded for their pre-sales and after sales customer service and support. Our 12,000 square foot facility includes a full test, repair and overhaul department for SGB's and others LCD and CRT products. SGB is a leader in CRT displays and offers support for these displays.

Our repair services includes:
  • Complete overhauls of LCD and CRT displays
  • Bezels and panel cleaning and refurbishment
  • CRT to LCD Conversions
  • Vector/stroke monitor refurbishment
  • High voltage power supply repairs
Other Services include:
  • Sourcing hard to find obsolete electronics
  • Training of field services personnel
  • Complete manual and tech publications

Modernization:

If you are considering an upgrade or modernization program (CRT to LCD) for your simulator or trainer, please contact SGB's technical department for engineering support. We have completed a number of these programs and can help you develop your requirements.

Return Material Authorization (RMA)

A Return Material Request number must accompany all returns, warranty or otherwise. Please contact our customer service department to obtain a number. When you call in please have the following information ready:

  • Model number
  • Serial number
  • Description of the service issue
Once you have obtained your RMA number, please write that on the outside of the shipping container prior to shipment to SGB.

Warranty

SGB agrees to correct either by repair or replacement, any defect in material or workmanship in SGB products which develop within 12 months after delivery of the equipment to the original purchaser - provided the equipment has been subjected to normal and proper use. Any item claimed to be defective during the Warranty period must be returned to SGB Enterprises, Inc. with transportation charges prepaid. The item will be repaired and returned to the purchaser with return transportation prepaid by SGB Enterprises, Inc. unless, of course, the item is found not to be defective, or found to be damaged by misuse, in which case it will be returned to the purchaser with repair and transportation charges billed collect.
